Esin B. Sözer is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Bioengineering Department at Northeastern University's College of Engineering. She holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering-Electrophysics from the University of Southern California (USC), an M.S. from Auburn University, and a B.S. from Hacettepe University. Her research focuses on biophysics of electric field interactions with biological systems, electropermeabilization, and electrostimulation. She has held prior appointments including Research Assistant Professor at Old Dominion University and Postdoctoral roles at UCLA and USC.
