Ervin Kosatica is a Researcher at the University of Bayreuth's Department of Earth Science within the Faculty of Biology, Chemistry and Earth Sciences. His roles include Research Associate (since 2023, RhizoTraits project) and teaching assignments at the Professorship of Ecological Services (PES) since 2019. He holds a PhD from the MedWater project (2017-2021, BMBF-funded) and an MSc in Global Change Ecology (University of Bayreuth, 2013-2016). His research focuses on ecosystem service evaluation using SWAT models for Bavarian watersheds and social science approaches for cultural services in rehabilitated areas.
