Dr. Erol Saglam is a Social Anthropologist affiliated with Istanbul Medeniyet University as a Lecturer in the Department of Sociology since 2020. He previously held postdoctoral fellowships at Stockholm University (2018–2019) and Freie Universität Berlin. His research bridges political anthropology, ethnographic methodology, and heritage preservation, focusing on statecraft, conspiracy theories, and masculine subjectivity in authoritarian contexts.
