Ernil Sabaj is an Assistant Professor (Teaching Focussed) and former Teaching Fellow in Macroeconomics at the Department of Economics, University of Warwick, UK. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Exeter and an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's Degree from the University of Antwerp, University of Staffordshire, Universidad de Cantabria, and Universidade de Brasília. Previously, he worked as a senior economist at the Albanian Ministry of Finance and Economy. His research focuses on Macroeconomics, Fiscal and Monetary Policy, Business Cycles, and Macroeconomics of Climate Change. He has published in journals like the Journal of Economic Studies and Economics Letters. Sabaj is a Fellow of The Higher Education Academy and actively supervises dissertations at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Research Interests: Explores monetary policy transmission mechanisms, fiscal policy impacts, and climate change economics. Recent work includes analyzing oil prices' effects on housing markets and sectoral shocks' influence on price stickiness.
Grants & Awards: Holds the Higher Education Academy Fellowship. Active in conferences and workshops, including presentations at the Portuguese Economic Journal Annual Meeting and the Baltic Economic Conference.
