Ernestine Putz

Ernestine Putz is a Research Scientist at the Leibniz Institute for Science and Mathematics Education (IPN) in Kiel, specializing in Biology Education. She earned her Master of Education (2023) and Bachelor of Arts (2021) in Biology and Economics/Politics from the University of Kiel. Her work focuses on domain-specific learning in early education and sustainability education initiatives.

Current projects include KiKo – KIKO Kindergarten Suitcases, which explores educational tools for sustainability in kindergarten settings. She is affiliated with the IPN's Biology Education department and contributes to research on science communication and teacher professional development.
