Erlend Aune

Erlend Aune is an Associate Professor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) with a joint role as Chief Technology Officer at HANCE. His research focuses on creative applications of machine learning including generative modeling, sound/music analysis, and text-based content extraction.

Key technical interests include diffusion modeling, masked modeling, active learning frameworks, irregular time series forecasting, and food-related machine learning applications. As founder of Oslo Data Science Meetup, he promotes interdisciplinary data science collaboration.
