Erin Zaffini

Dr. Erin Zaffini is an accomplished Adjunct Professor in the Music Department at Keene State College and holds a faculty position in the Professional Development Department at the University of New Hampshire. At Keene State, she supervises student teachers and teaches undergraduate courses in general music education, music curriculum and assessment, and adaptive music pedagogy. Concurrently, at UNH, she trains in-service educators on integrating music and movement into classrooms and teaches specialized courses in Early Childhood Music and Movement development.

Her research and professional expertise encompasses multiple facets of music education including curriculum design, instructional assessment, adaptive teaching strategies for diverse learners, early childhood music development, and movement integration. With extensive preK-12 teaching experience across general music, choral, instrumental, and theater disciplines, Dr. Zaffini bridges academic theory with practical classroom applications. She maintains active research contributions through publications in leading music education journals.

Dr. Zaffini provides student teacher supervision at Keene State College and leads national mentor training initiatives through the Society for Music Teacher Education. Her extensive professional service includes leadership positions with the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), New Hampshire Music Educators Association (NHMEA), and editorial advisory roles for the Music Educators Journal.
