Erin Owen is an Associate Professor and Director of Online Sciences at Husson University's College of Science and Humanities. She holds a PhD in Marine Biology from the University of Maine, alongside a Master's from Scripps Institution of Oceanography and a Bachelor's in Biological Science from Wellesley College. Her research focuses on zooplankton communities in the Weddell Sea, Antarctica, and spatial/temporal dynamics of Gulf of Maine sea scallop populations. She actively promotes hands-on science education for K-12 students through collaborative initiatives with Maine public schools.
