Erin McGowan

Erin McGowan is an Assistant Professor at the School of Human Kinetics and Recreation, Memorial University of Newfoundland. Her research focuses on promoting healthy lifestyles, particularly physical activity, to improve health outcomes and manage chronic conditions. She specializes in physical activity interventions for cancer survivors and community-based health programs.

Research interests include cancer/chronic conditions management, healthy active living programs, and exercise medicine. She has published extensively on physical activity promotion strategies, behavioral interventions, and health outcomes in populations such as cancer survivors, youth, and families.
