Erin McClellan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Culture and Learning at Aalborg University, affiliated with The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. Her research focuses on rhetoric, urban communication, and environmental discourse, with a particular interest in how language shapes public engagement, climate justice, and care work(ers). She holds a PhD in Rhetoric from the University of Colorado Boulder and has taught at Boise State University and Denison University.

Research Interests: Erin’s work examines micro-uses of language in public spaces, rhetorical fieldwork, and environmental care work(ers). She investigates how discourse influences climate anxiety, urban planning, and social justice. Recent projects include analyzing sustainable discourses in education and exploring the valuation of care work(ers) in climate discourse.
