Erin Irick

Erin Irick is an Associate Professor and Program Coordinator for the Design, Merchandising, and Textiles program at the University of Wyoming, within the College of Agriculture, Life Sciences & Natural Resources. Her expertise lies in apparel design, sustainability, and textile innovation.

• M.S. in Apparel, Textiles and Interior Design (Apparel Design), Kansas State University
• B.S. in Apparel and Textile Merchandising, Kansas State University

Research Interests: Erin focuses on textile and apparel sustainability, particularly repurposing second-hand materials, eco-friendly dyes, and reducing environmental impact in the fashion industry. Her creative scholarship integrates sustainability with techniques like shibori, batik, and digital textile design.
