Erin H Healy

Erin H Healy, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Radiation Oncology Department at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) School of Medicine. She serves as Residency Program Director, overseeing clinical training in radiation oncology.

Dr. Healy specializes in the treatment of distal vaginal and vulvar cancers, with a focus on image-guided brachytherapy (IGBT) techniques. Her research evaluates the efficacy and toxicity profiles of combined external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) and IGBT for both primary and recurrent gynecological malignancies.

Her recent clinical study (2021) analyzed 18 patients treated with IGBT, demonstrating meaningful loco-regional control and primarily skin/vaginal toxicity. The work contributes to optimizing radiation dosing strategies for gynecological cancers.
