Erin Gibbons

Erin Gibbons is a part-time faculty member at Seattle Central College within the Seattle Colleges system. She teaches chemistry courses, including Introduction to Chemistry and Organic Chemistry with laboratory components.

• PhD in Chemistry from University of Washington
• MS in Electrical Engineering from University of Washington

Her teaching philosophy emphasizes experiential learning and integrating climate justice into chemistry education. She has taught at multiple institutions including Edmonds, Shoreline, Bellevue, Cascadia, and South Seattle College since 2008. Outside academia, she engages in dancing, gardening, and working with dogs.
