Erin E. Murphy is the Norman Dorsen Professor of Civil Liberties at New York University School of Law. She specializes in criminal law, criminal procedure, evidence, and forensic science, with notable expertise in forensic DNA analysis and legal reform. Her work bridges academia and policy, including roles as a Senior Policy Advisor at the White House Domestic Policy Council (2021–2022) and as an Associate Reporter for the American Law Institute’s Model Penal Code revision.
