Erin DeCurtis

Dr. Erin DeCurtis serves as Associate Teaching Professor and Diane K. Trust Professor in Leadership Development at Simmons University's School of Management. As Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs and Faculty, she oversees undergraduate programs in Accounting, Business & Management, Finance, Marketing and Retail Management, and supports faculty teaching in these programs.

Her educational qualifications are:

• EdD in Organizational Change and Leadership, University of Southern California
• MBA, Simmons University
• BA, University of New Hampshire

Dr. DeCurtis's research focuses on gender and racial equity initiatives, primarily in the nonprofit sector. She has over two decades of experience as a consultant to nonprofit organizations and mission-driven for-profit companies on training, development, human capital, and diversity issues since 1999.

She has been recognized with the following honor:

In her administrative capacity, Dr. DeCurtis previously served as Interim Director of Simmons’ School of Business (2022-2024) and as a Research Consultant for the Center for Gender in Organizations. She teaches undergraduate courses including Nonprofit Management, Sustainability in Boston, and Boston Women Leaders, alongside graduate-level instruction in nonprofit leadership.
