Erin C. Regneri is an Instructor in the Department of English at the University of Missouri, located within the College of Arts and Science. She holds a PhD from the University of Missouri awarded in 2023. Her research focuses on 19th-century American literature, particularly nature and environmental writing, and explores how literature reflects evolving human-environment relationships during this period. She specializes in American Romanticism, Transcendentalism, and the Civil War/Reconstruction era.
