Erin C. Berns-Herrboldt

Erin C. Berns-Herrboldt serves as an Assistant Professor of Water Science within the Department of Natural and Applied Sciences and the Resch School of Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Her environmental engineering expertise drives research on biogeochemical contaminant and nutrient dynamics in aqueous systems, with specialized focus on redox-sensitive groundwater and near-surface environments.

Her work investigates how oxygen and iron availability govern chemical transformations in soils and sediments, directly informing water quality management and pollution remediation.
