Erin Brannigan

Erin Brannigan is an Associate Professor in Theatre and Performance at the University of New South Wales, specializing in Dance, Film, Choreography, and Intermedial Composition. Her work explores the intersection of dance with visual arts, museums, and screen media, focusing on preservation, curation, and experimental practices.

Her research spans choreography in museums, gesture as a cross-disciplinary framework, and minimalism in avant-garde practices. She leads projects like Precarious Movements and Dancing Sydney, bridging academic inquiry with industry applications.
