Erin Basilius, MS, PA-C, serves as the Program Director for the Physician Assistant Studies program at Ursuline College's Breen School of Nursing & Health Professions. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from The Ohio State University and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Pittsburgh.
Her academic focus centers on infectious disease management, PA leadership in healthcare systems, and holistic patient care across the lifespan. During the coronavirus pandemic, she gained expertise in healthcare personnel infection prevention and public health strategies to mitigate community exposure through her frontline work in urgent care settings. She actively contributes to advancing clinical education and professional standards within her discipline.
Her professional background emphasizes translating public health recommendations into practical clinical protocols while promoting leadership development among future healthcare providers.
