Erika Kleppinger is an Clinical Associate Professor at the Harrison School of Pharmacy, affiliated with the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Auburn University. Since joining the faculty in 2003, she has contributed to clinical practice, skills laboratory coordination, and curriculum development. Her expertise spans ambulatory care, diabetes management, and pharmacotherapy.

Dr. Kleppinger’s research and educational focus includes patient assessment, communication skills, dermatology, and self-care. She pioneered Objective Structured Clinical Exams (OSCEs) and performance-based assessments in the Practice-Ready Curriculum. Her outreach efforts involve mentoring pharmacy residents and organizing a summer Pharmacy Camp for high school students.
