Erik Matson is a Lecturer at The King’s College (Busch School of Business) and Senior Research Fellow/Deputy Director of the Adam Smith Program at George Mason University’s Mercatus Center. He holds a PhD and BS in Economics from George Mason University. His research focuses on economic philosophy, the intellectual history of the Scottish Enlightenment, and theology’s role in economic thought. He was awarded the 2022 Novak Award for his scholarship.
