Erik Dremel

Prof. Dr. Erik Dremel serves as Professor at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg's Faculty of Theology within the Institute for Systematic Theology, Practical Theology and Religious Studies. He concurrently holds positions as Director of Studies at the Evangelical Study Centre of the EKM since 2006 and Lecturer for Hymnology and Gregorian Chant at the Evangelical University of Church Music Halle.

His academic formation spans theology, philosophy, musicology, German studies, and church music at Hamburg and Birmingham universities:
