Erich Häfliger is a Professor and Head of Continuing and Executive Education at the Institute of Architecture IAR within the Lucerne School of Engineering and Architecture (Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts). His roles combine academic leadership in architectural education with professional practice.
- Leadership: Head of Continuing/Executive Education programs in Architecture and Interior Architecture since 2017
- Teaching: Guest lecturer in Design & Art (2008–2018), course instructor in Architecture/Interior Architecture since 2009
Professional activities include co-founding the architectural firm Verena Berchtold Erich Häfliger Architekten (Giswil, 2011–present) and prior work with Peter Affentranger Architekt BSA SWB Luzern (2001–2010). He holds dual diplomas: a 2000 FH degree in Architecture and a 2001 HFG degree in Fine Arts/Design from Lucerne institutions.
