Erica Halverson is a Professor in the School of Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research focuses on how people learn through the arts, particularly in performing arts contexts, and she leads the Whoopensocker artist-in-residence program in Madison Public Schools. She holds a PhD in Learning Sciences from Northwestern University. Dr. Halverson’s work bridges maker education, arts integration, and educational technology, emphasizing collaboration and equity in learning spaces.
