Dr. Eric Zevallos is a Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta University. He serves as the Director of the Emergency Medicine Clerkship and co-sponsors the Emergency Medicine Interest Group. Dr. Zevallos earned his MD from the University of South Florida School of Medicine in 2010 and completed both his residency and emergency ultrasound fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia.
Research Focus: His work centers on point-of-care ultrasound applications and medical education innovation. Primary interests include ultrasound integration in curricula, emergency procedural training, resident education frameworks, and international ultrasound workshop instruction. His research bridges clinical practice and educational methodology.
Publication Trends: Recent articles focus on ultrasound pedagogy (clerkship integration), vascular anatomy for emergency procedures, and telemedicine applications. Works consistently intersect clinical ultrasound, educational design, and emergency medicine practice.
