Eric Y. Denkers is a Professor in the Department of Biology at the University of New Mexico (UNM), located in the College of Arts and Sciences. His office is in CAST 2566, and his laboratory spans CAST 2517, 2517A, and 2515. He holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (1990).
Research Interests: Dr. Denkers focuses on host immunity during parasite infections, immunoregulatory functions of innate immunity, mucosal immune responses during infection, signal transduction mechanisms during intracellular infection, and microbial strategies for immune evasion. His work bridges cell biology, genetics, and immunology to understand pathogen-host interactions.
