Eric Woltshock

Professor Eric Woltshock serves in the Department of Law, Criminal Justice & Society within the College of General Studies at the University of Pittsburgh. A licensed Pennsylvania attorney, he brings 32 years of prosecutorial experience from the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office (1984-2016), where he rose to Deputy District Attorney supervising Juvenile Prosecution and General Trial Units.

His research focuses on criminal justice systems with specialized expertise in juvenile justice processes, criminal trial litigation, and appellate law. This is reflected in his teaching of courses including Juvenile Delinquency (ADMJ 1210) and Juvenile Justice Process (LCJS 1430), leveraging real-world prosecution insights.
