Eric Voigt is a Professor of Legal Writing and Research at Faulkner University School of Law, where he teaches predictive writing, appellate advocacy, and interactive research methods. He emphasizes student engagement through innovative techniques like Poll Everywhere, video clips, and collaborative exercises. Professor Voigt also founded R+W Legal Consultants, offering CLE seminars such as “Becoming a Rock Star Researcher” and coaching attorneys on persuasive writing. Prior to academia, he practiced complex litigation at Faruki Ireland & Cox in Ohio (2003–2010), specializing in class actions, business torts, and antitrust matters.
Education: B.A. in Economics (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, 2000), J.D. (Indiana University Maurer School of Law, 2003). He served as Notes and Comments Editor for the Indiana Law Journal. Active in professional development, he blogs weekly on legal research/writing and contributes to ABA publications.
