Eric Strahorn is an Associate Professor of History and Program Coordinator for the History MA program at Florida Gulf coast University's Department of Political Science, Public Administration & History. He holds a Ph.D. in History from the University of Iowa (1997), an M.A. (1989), and a B.A. from Drake University (1988). His research focuses on environmental history, disease history, South Asian studies, and Himalayan region dynamics.

Research Interests: Explores intersections between environmental change and human societies, particularly in South Asia.
