Eric Nordberg

Dr. Eric Nordberg is a Senior Lecturer in Applied Ecology and Landscape Management at the University of New England. He leads the Reptile Ecology and Environmental Disturbance (REED) lab, studying wildlife responses to environmental changes, particularly reptiles. His work bridges conservation with industry needs, such as cattle grazing and renewable energy.

Research explores disturbance impacts on reptile communities, species interactions, and innovative strategies like wildlife-friendly solar farms. Recent projects include turtle conservation, wetland connectivity, and thermal refugia under climate change.
