Eric Hamel

Eric Hamel is an Assistant Professor in the Screen Scoring Department at Berklee College of Music. As a composer, sound designer, and game designer, he specializes in creating adaptive audio experiences for interactive media and video games, with works deployed across PC, mobile, and major console platforms.

Research Focus:

• Integration of music and gameplay mechanics
• Adaptive audio systems in game design
• Interactive media storytelling through sound
• Emerging technologies in game audio engineering
