Eric Gaynor is a Lecturer in the Department of Accounting at Bentley University's School of Business. He holds an MS in Accountancy with High Distinction from Bentley University and dual bachelor's degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science from Syracuse University. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), he brings extensive professional experience in public accounting, nonprofit management, and government consulting.

His research focuses on the impact of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors on financial reporting, aligning with broader trends in sustainable and transparent financial practices. His consulting expertise lies in cost allocation for health and human service agencies, nonprofit organization finance, and compliance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards.
Eric has served as a Senior Consultant at Sivic Solutions Group, Project Manager at Maximus specializing in revenue maximization, and Executive Director of three Boston-area nonprofit organizations. He also serves as an instructor for the National Association of State Human Services Finance Officers (HSFO), contributing to professional development in public sector finance.
His professional experience in tax and audit was gained at Johnson O'Connor. He is actively engaged in the accounting profession with a strong commitment to public service and education.
