Eric Charles Thompson

Eric Charles Thompson is an Associate Professor of Anthropology in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the National University of Singapore. With a PhD in sociocultural anthropology from the University of Washington and postdoctoral experience at UCLA's Center for Southeast Asian Studies, his academic career spans over two decades.

Thompson also serves as co-editor of the Asian Journal of Social Sciences and associate editor of the Journal of Southeast Asian Studies.
