Eric Blanchard is Associate Professor of Political Science at SUNY Oswego. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Southern California and teaches courses in global politics. His research spans international security, U.S. foreign policy, Chinese/East Asian security, IR theory, critical methodologies, and gender in world politics.
Blanchard's scholarship employs critical qualitative approaches to examine power dynamics in global security architectures. His work has appeared in International Studies Quarterly, Signs, Review of International Studies, Journal of International Relations and Development, and Brown Journal of World Affairs.
