Eric Battaglioli

Eric Battaglioli serves as an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Biology Department at Emory University and is a core faculty member of the HHMI-funded Science Education Alliance-Phage Hunters Advancing Genomics and Evolutionary Science (SEA-PHAGES) program, which integrates bacteriophage research into undergraduate curricula nationwide.

His work focuses on phage genomics and evolutionary biology through innovative science education frameworks, enabling students to participate in authentic research from phage isolation to genomic annotation.
