Enrique Rodrigo González is an Associate Professor (part-time) at the University of Valladolid's Department of Urban Planning and Architectural Representation. He holds a degree in Architecture (1999) and specialized certifications in Urban Planning, GIS, and ESRI ArcGIS. Since 1990, he has collaborated with the University Institute of Urban Planning, serving as architect, researcher, and educator. His roles include laboratory specialist (GIS), course secretary for Urban Planning programs, and instructor in undergraduate/master's courses on GIS and urban development.
His research focuses on urban regeneration strategies, GIS applications in planning, and territorial policy frameworks in Castile and León. Notable projects include leading the Valladolid General Urban Plan revision (2012), drafting municipal regulations for over 10 municipalities, and contributing to regional Territorial Planning Guidelines (DOTs). His work bridges academic research with practical urban interventions, emphasizing digital tools like BIM and GIS integration for neighborhood revitalization.
