Enrique Mateos Naranjo

Enrique Mateos Naranjo is a Professor in the Department of Plant Biology and Ecology at the Faculty of Biology, University of Seville, where he conducts research on salt marsh ecosystems, invasive species management, and ecological restoration. His work integrates field studies with laboratory experiments to address environmental challenges in coastal wetlands.

His research focuses on halophyte physiology and plant-microbe interactions, particularly examining Spartina densiflora invasions in Doñana National Park and Guadalquivir estuary.
