His research focuses on political philosophy, human rights, dehumanization, war, global security, and political language. He explores the intersections of ethics, politics, and aesthetics, with particular attention to figures like Edmund Burke, Benedetto Croce, and Thomas Jefferson. His work critically examines the rhetoric of human rights, the philosophical foundations of war, and the erosion of subjectivity in contemporary discourse.
The recent articles reveal a strong thematic consistency: a deep engagement with dehumanization, dignity, political rhetoric, and global security. His scholarship spans from historical-philosophical analyses of revolution and counter-revolution to contemporary critiques of sovereign democracy, digital sublime, and the political use of death. He frequently analyzes political language, especially in contexts of war, hate speech, and theocratic governance.
- Wilbur Fellowship Program, Russell Kirk Center (2001)
Graziani has led multiple research projects funded by Sapienza University and national programs (PRIN). He has coordinated doctoral seminars, served on academic committees, and advised graduate students. He is the scientific coordinator of the Erasmus program with Granada and Prague, and has organized numerous international conferences on topics such as war, human dignity, and political philosophy. He also contributes to editorial boards of academic series like 'Teoria politica' and 'Cronotopoi'.
He is a member of the Scientific Committee for the PhD program in Political Studies and has been involved in institutional roles such as jury president for admission exams and committee member for international scholarships. His academic leadership extends to directing research on migration, integration, and legality in Europe.
