معرفی
Enock Teefe is a Psychiatry Research Fellow at the Yale School of Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry. He completed his MD at Rosalind Franklin University (2019) and holds advanced degrees in Bioengineering (UCLA, 2012) and an AS in Biology (Los Medanos College, 2009). His research focuses on psychiatric genomics, particularly neuropsychiatric disorders like Tourette Syndrome, OCD, ADHD, and schizophrenia. He investigates genomic and transcriptomic mechanisms underlying these conditions, aiming to bridge clinical practice with translational research.
Key affiliations include the Fernandez Lab and the Child Study Center. His work includes studies on gene expression in OCD patients and neurogenetic mechanisms of mental illness. Notable awards include the 2023 Kavli Postdoctoral Award for Academic Diversity, the 2022 Thomas P. Detre Award, and the 2017 Gold Humanism Honor Society recognition.
Research trends in his publications span neurogenetics, genomic instability in cancer, and rare disease mechanisms. He has contributed to studies using advanced genomic techniques like deep sequencing and spectral clustering to understand genetic risk in neuropsychiatric and oncologic contexts.
