Encarnación Castillo García

Encarnación Castillo García is a Full Professor and Academic Secretary at CEU Cardenal Herrera University in Castellón, Spain. She specializes in Pharmacognosy and teaches in the Pharmacy and Pharmacology degree programs for Nursing and Medicine students.

Her research focuses on pharmacological applications of natural products, particularly in Phytotherapy and Rational Use of Medicines. She has published extensively in international JCR-indexed journals and serves as editor for the book Manual de Phytoterapia (Elsevier-Masson) and co-author of pharmacology textbook chapters.

She has secured multiple research grants and contracts with private companies, combining teaching with principal investigator roles in national and regional projects. Her academic career spans over 25 years at CEU Cardenal Herrera University.
