Emrullah ERDEM is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Science Education at Adıyaman University's Faculty of Education. He holds a Doctorate in Mathematics Education from Atatürk University (2015) and has been a faculty member since 2016. His research focuses on mathematical reasoning, probabilistic reasoning, educational strategies in mathematics, and teacher training. He has authored six books and over 40 peer-reviewed articles, many indexed in SSCI/ERIC/Web of Science.
His work emphasizes improving mathematical reasoning through enriched learning environments and addressing misconceptions in topics like fractions, percentages, and geometry. He has led projects such as 'The Effect of Learning Environments on Mathematical Reasoning in Rural Adıyaman' and 'Number Sense Education for Preschool Teacher Candidates.' Awards include multiple TUBITAK and Adıyaman University recognitions for international publications.
ERDEM has advised numerous graduate students and actively contributes to teacher training through courses like 'Mathematical Reasoning Education' and 'Approaches to Teaching Mathematics.' His outreach includes workshops on mitigating math anxiety and optimizing learning environments for teachers and students.
