Emna Bouzayani is a Researcher at FernUniversität Hagen, working as a research associate at CATALPA (Center for Adaptive Teaching and Learning in Higher Education) and the chair of Cooperative Systems. She is actively involved in the development and research of the METALADIN project, contributing to innovations in adaptive learning technologies.
Her educational background includes a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Passau (2017-2021). Prior professional experience encompasses roles as a Platform Software Engineer at Diebold Nixdorf Paderborn (2021-2025), and working student positions at BE-TSE Munich (2020-2021) and Cevotec Munich (2019-2020).
Emna's research focuses on Natural Language Processing & sentiment analysis, Embedded systems, and Adaptive learning. She believes CATALPA provides the perfect environment to expand skills in adaptive learning, reshaping university landscapes with new technologies for enhanced student and professor experiences.
Within CATALPA, she contributes to two key projects: Aiducator and METALADIN, both aimed at advancing educational technologies through innovative approaches.
Currently developing her first academic publications, Emna maintains a professional presence on LinkedIn and is based in Room G 210 (2nd floor) of Building 3 (IZ) at Universitätsstraße 11, 58097 Hagen.
