Emna Berrich serves as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Nantes and is affiliated with the GREEN team within the GEPEA research unit (UMR 6144). Her academic career at the institution spans from Teaching Assistant (2008-2011) through Teaching and Research Assistant (2011-2012) to her current senior faculty position, with additional collaboration at IMT Atlantique Nantes.
She earned her Doctorate from the University of Nantes specializing in Process Engineering with a focus on Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer Intensification in Chemical Engineering Processes, following dual Master 2 Research degrees in France (ICA-GP) and Tunisia (GC-P) during 2007-2008.
Her research spans Process Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, and Environmental Engineering, with emphasis on sustainable process intensification and energy efficiency. As a core member of the GREEN team, her work integrates chemical and environmental engineering principles to develop innovative industrial solutions. She has authored over 20 publications in these interdisciplinary fields.
Dr. Berrich received the MR Research Grant during 2008-2011 and actively contributes to academic governance through scientific committees for major conferences including IEEES'15, COFRET'14, and CICME'10. Her teaching portfolio covers chemical engineering processes and fluid mechanics at undergraduate and graduate levels.
