Dr Emmanuelle Schon-Quinlivan is a College Lecturer in European Politics at the Department of Government, University College Cork (UCC) since 2001. She holds a PhD in Politics (UCD), LLM in European Law (Edinburgh), and MA in International Public Law (La Sorbonne). Her academic role includes teaching European policy-making and French politics. She directs the UCC Hub in Active European Citizenship, focusing on civic education and interdisciplinary collaboration in European Studies. Key grants include the Jean Monnet Chair (2021) and Teacher Training Grant (2022), supporting EU education initiatives from primary to secondary levels. Notable projects include the 'My Big Friendly Guide to the EU' (2017–2019), a pupil-centered program fostering EU awareness in primary schools.
