Emmanuelle ROMBACH

Emmanuelle ROMBACH is an Associate Professor at the École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Strasbourg (ENSAS), where she has taught Theories and Practices of Architectural and Urban Design since 2006. She maintains an active professional practice as Partner and co-manager of G.studio agency in Strasbourg and serves as an Architect advisor for CAUE 67.

Her research interests span architectural design, urban planning, sustainable architecture, bioclimatic design, participatory housing, and urban regeneration. ROMBACH integrates her academic work with extensive practical experience in developing eco-districts, public facilities, and housing projects that adhere to BBC (Low Energy Building) standards.

Notable achievements include the 'Les Coccinelles' project at Sainte-Croix-aux-Mines, which received the Ecoquartier 2014 label. Her professional portfolio includes significant urban planning projects such as the conversion of a 27-hectare military wasteland into a Low Carbon Technology Park in La Rochelle and the development of an eco-district with 1300 housing units in Strasbourg.

ROMBACH has presented her work internationally at conferences in La Rochelle, Paris, Basel, Ulan Bator, Oman, Beijing, and Dubai. Her multidisciplinary background includes a DPLG Architect diploma, a Diploma from the Institute of Political Studies of Strasbourg, and a DEUG in art history and archaeology.
