Emmanuelle Loyer is Professor of Contemporary History at the Centre for History (CHSP) of Sciences Po Paris. A graduate of École Normale Supérieure and agrégée in history, she specializes in cultural history of contemporary societies with focus on artistic policies, transnational intellectual exchanges, and intersections between literature and social sciences. She authored a seminal biography of Claude Lévi-Strauss (2015) and co-edited interdisciplinary doctoral seminars on cultural circulation and literature-social science dialogues.
