Emmanuelle FILLION is a Professor of Sociology specializing in disability at EHESP (French School of Public Health), where she holds a position since 2015. She is affiliated with the Research Collective on Disability, Autonomy, and Inclusive Society (CoRHASI), the Department of Human and Social Sciences, and the UMR 6051 ARENES Research Unit. Her academic career bridges sociology, public policy, and disability studies through interdisciplinary lenses.
She holds a doctorate in sociology from EHESS (Paris) and previously worked in publishing and non-profit health sectors. Her research focuses on disability policies, patient/victim mobilizations, user rights, mental health employment, and the sociology of ignorance in health systems. She leads the PROPLAINT project (2018-2020) on mental health complaints and participates in FIPHFP-EHESP programs for public sector disability employment.

She teaches in EHESP’s Master 2 program on Disability and Social Participation and co-hosts the Mobilizations, Rights, and Disability seminar.
