Emmanuelle Baudry is a Professor at University Paris Saclay, affiliated with the Ecological Processes and Human Impact team within the Laboratoire Écologie, Société et Évolution (IDEEV). Her research spans urban ecology, conservation biology, and evolutionary ecology, with a focus on biodiversity dynamics in peri-urban areas.
- Urban ecology
- Conservation biology
- Evolutionary ecology
- Behavioral ecology
- Evolution of personality
She investigates biodiversity conservation in urban environments, citizen engagement with nature, and the impacts of anthropogenic pressures like pollution and land-use changes. Her work includes genetic studies on red squirrels and Korean squirrels to understand population viability and personality variation.
Collaborators include C. Bessa-Gomes, F. Chiron, A.C. Prévot, R. Mélot, and others. She teaches quantitative genetics, ecology, population genetics, and evolutionary biology.
