معرفی
Elsa BONNAUD is an Assistant Professor at Paris Saclay University since 2011, affiliated with the Biodiversity dynamics and macro-ecology team in the Laboratoire Écologie, Société et Évolution (IDEEV). Her research focuses on predator-prey interactions, invasive species, and conservation strategies in insular and peri-urban ecosystems.
- Education:
- MSc in Biology and Ecology
- PhD in Ecology and population dynamics
- Habilitation to supervise research (2020)
Her current work examines how global changes disrupt predator-prey dynamics, particularly in agricultural and urban fringe zones. She leads 3 teaching units and investigates trophic downgrading impacts in agrosystems.
BONNAUD actively engages in science communication, including documentaries, public lectures, and collaborations with media outlets (France Inter, France Culture, AFP, etc.). She contributes to national expert groups on invasive species and predator roles in trophic networks.
- Professional Expertise:
- Scientific expert for ESOD status evaluation at FRB (2023)
- Expert on fox ecology at ANSES (2022-2023)
- Continuing expert roles for Port-Cros National Park and Mediterranean island initiatives
