Emmanuel Pisani is a researcher at the Institute of Science and Theology of Religions, Paris, affiliated with the 'Religion, Culture and Society' research unit (EA7403). He directs the 'Islam and Otherness' research laboratory and serves as a scientific advisor to the University Platform for Research on Islam in Europe and Lebanon (PLURIEL). He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Fondation de l'Islam de France.
